For 15 years I have been the home economics teacher at Soweto Public School. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 750 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Jacques
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Jacques: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
