Jacob J. Stephens

Children's librarian in Los Angeles

  • 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
  • Los Angeles Reading Room
  • Since 1987
  • English
I've worked at Los Angeles Reading Room since 1987. If there was a question, we'd find an answer, or at least a book that might help. I never raise my voice. A library should feel like a living room. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Jacob: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.
