Jacob F. Barker

Tabla and oud teacher

  • 🇬🇧 Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom
  • Edinburgh Ensemble
  • Since 1996
  • English
I play tabla and oud. I started in 1996 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. I teach about 17 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

More about Jacob

If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.

What gifts mean to Jacob: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
