Jackson M. Miller
Volunteer mentor with Elmwood Youth Network
- 🇺🇸 Houston, Texas, United States
- Elmwood Youth Network
- 1985 to 1996
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 220 people through Elmwood Youth Network.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I run most mornings.
More about Jackson
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Jackson: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
