Jackson Gonzalez
Coached cross country for 25 years in San Francisco
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
- San Francisco Community Club
- 1994 to 2019
- English, Spanish
I coached cross country at San Francisco Community Club from 1994 to 2019. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm still learning every day.

If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
