Jack W. Tate
Professor of organic chemistry, Elmwood Polytechnic
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Elmwood Polytechnic
- Since 1978
- English
My subject is organic chemistry, and for 48 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Elmwood Polytechnic.
Former students now work as a nurse and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Jack
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Jack: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
