Jack W. Bates
Volunteer mentor with Newcastle Learning Hub
- 🇦🇺 Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia
- 1989 to 2014
- English
For 25 years I've mentored people in recovery and first-generation students. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I learned every name in the first week.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Jack
If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Jack: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
