Jack P. Welch
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States
- Old Redwood Repairs
- Since 1990
- English
I've worked in thatching since 1990. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 2,120 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

You fixed our roof in 2014 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from El Paso.
