For 30 years I ran the cross country program at Bakersfield Jacaranda Community Club in Bakersfield. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
