Jack F. Day
French and history teacher, Oakland
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Summit Public School
- 1989 to 2017
- English
I taught French and history at Summit Public School, Oakland. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

I was in your Year 10 class in 1999. You believed I could do it before I did Truly.

I failed French twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you! Greetings from Nuremberg.
