I coached cricket at Newcastle Football Club from 2003 to 2013. Most of my players were between 8 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Jack: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
