I taught music at Sakura Technical College in Leeds from 2010 to 2021. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

I was in your mixed-ability classes class in 2019. You believed I could do it before I did.
