Baking for 47 years in East London
- 🇿🇦 East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa
- Pioneer Repairs
- Since 1979
- English, Zulu
I've worked in baking since 1979. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,830 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Jabu
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Jabu: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
