Jabu E. Adams
14 years teaching social studies in Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Secondary School
- Since 1986
- English, Afrikaans
Johannesburg Secondary School is my second home. I teach social studies there since 1986, mostly Grade 8.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Jabu
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me social studies in 2015 at Johannesburg Secondary School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

You taught me social studies in 2020 at Johannesburg Secondary School. I still remember the long bus ride home.
