Iwan Umar Pane
Badminton coach, Kediri Sports Club
- 🇮🇩 Kediri, East Java, Indonesia
- Since 1998
- English
For 28 years I've run the badminton program at Kediri Sports Club in Kediri. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Iwan
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Iwan: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
