I taught music and Spanish at Eastgate Boys' School, Hialeah. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I ran the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I walk the dog by the river.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Ivy: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
