Ivy Hughes

Tabla player and teacher in London

  • 🇬🇧 London, England, United Kingdom
  • Good Shepherd Band
  • Since 2013
  • English, Spanish
I've played tabla since 2013, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach. I teach about 14 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Ivy

I write my first song when I was 21. It was terrible and I still love it.
