Ivy Hicks
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇬🇧 Birmingham, England, United Kingdom
- The Good Shepherd Repairs
- 2013 to 2025
- English
I've worked in weaving from 2013 to 2025. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 440 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I fix old bicycles.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Ivy: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
