Ivy C. Bates
Taught religious studies at Starlight Primary School
- 🇺🇸 Peoria, Illinois, United States
- Starlight Primary School
- 1982 to 2004
- English
I taught religious studies at Starlight Primary School in Peoria from 1982 to 2004. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Ivy
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
