Iván P. Tapia
Master of plumbing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Lowell, Massachusetts, United States
- Little Lowell Workshop
- Since 1988
- English
I've worked in plumbing since 1988. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,180 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Iván
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Iván: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
