For 17 years I've mentored people in recovery and first-generation students. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
