Iván J. Mora
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇪🇸 Madrid, Madrid, Spain
- Madrid Harmony Community Club
- 2006 to 2024
- Spanish
For 18 years I ran the chess program at Madrid Harmony Community Club in Madrid. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Iván
If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
