Itzel T. Torres
Nursing mentor, Vigo
- 🇪🇸 Vigo, Galicia, Spain
- Kingsway Foundation
- 2003 to 2017
- Spanish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 320 people through Kingsway Foundation.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Itzel
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Itzel: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
