Itzel S. Guzmán

Early years teacher at Lincoln Technical College, 1991 to 2019

Spanish

I taught early years at Lincoln Technical College in Vigo from 1991 to 2019. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it. Over the years I had 840 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Itzel

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
