I've been a nurse for eight years, most of them in surgery at Gateway Community Hospital in Veracruz. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm still learning every day.
