For 41 years I have been the special education teacher at Frangipani Grammar School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.

What gifts mean to Itzel: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You probably don't remember me, I sat by the window in 2016. I remember you! Truly.

I failed special education twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you! Greetings from New York.
