Isuru Lahiru Wickramasinghe
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇱🇰 Dehiwala, Western, Sri Lanka
- Old Orchid Workshop
- Since 1994
- English
My trade is pottery. I opened my own shop in 1994 in Dehiwala and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
I'm still learning every day.
