İsmail Kemal Acar

Refugee support organizer in Istanbul

  • 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
  • Istanbul Community Kitchen
  • 2005 to 2013
  • English
I've volunteered with Istanbul Community Kitchen from 2005 to 2013. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left. I never rush a conversation. Small habits keep a team together. I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to İsmail: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
