I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 2003 at Istanbul Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the changing seasons. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm still learning every day.
More about İsmail
I've had 3 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to İsmail: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
