I've played drums from 1994 to 2012, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 15 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to İsmail: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
