I've spent 34 years as a lecturer in public health at Crown State University in Bacoor. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm always reading two books at once.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Ismael: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
