I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 1996 at Pasig Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. My studio is always a bit of a mess.

What gifts mean to Ismael: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
