I've coached cycling at Our Lady of Peace Sports Club since 1979. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Ismael: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
