Ismael J. Lopez
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- šµš Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines
- The Willow Creek Shop
- 1995 to 2024
- English
I've worked in weaving from 1995 to 2024. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 700 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
