Ismael E. Mercado
Volleyball and fitness coach, Mandaue
- 🇵🇭 Mandaue, Cebu, Philippines
- 1981 to 1992
- English, Filipino, Spanish
I coached volleyball at Mandaue Boxing Gym from 1981 to 1992. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
More about Ismael
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
