I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 30 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Isla
If you were in my the youngest children class, you probably remember the snow day nobody expected.
What gifts mean to Isla: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
