Isla Nelson
Tabla player and teacher in San Jose
- 🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States
- Crown Band
- 1980 to 2015
- English
I've played tabla from 1980 to 2015, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 20 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I run most mornings.
