Isla K. Cooper
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Macon, Georgia, United States
- Little Macon Trades Guild
- Since 1978
- English, French
I've worked in welding since 1978. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 2,350 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I garden badly but happily.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Isla
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Isla: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
