Isla J. Chavez
Design mentor, Cincinnati
- 🇺🇸 Cincinnati, Ohio, United States
- Parkside Association
- Since 2000
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,270 people through Parkside Association.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Isla
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Isla: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
