I coached swimming at Victory Sports Club from 2010 to 2018. Most of my players were between 12 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Isla: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
