Isla F. Stanton
Teacher at Chicago Middle School, loves physics
- 🇺🇸 Chicago, Illinois, United States
- Chicago Middle School
- Since 2016
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and ten years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I never turn anyone away.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Isla
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

I was in your teenagers class in 2018. You believed I could do it before I did! Greetings from Faisalabad.

You taught me physics in 2022 at Chicago Middle School. I still remember the surprise birthday cake. Thank you again.
