Isla Carr
32 years teaching chemistry in San Diego
- 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
- Silverlake Public School
- 1993 to 2014
- English
I taught chemistry at Silverlake Public School in San Diego from 1993 to 2014. Most days I taught Year 10, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Isla
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Isla: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
