Isla Brown
Careers mentor, London
- 🇬🇧 London, England, United Kingdom
- Jacaranda Learning Hub
- 2012 to 2022
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 560 people through Jacaranda Learning Hub.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I'm always reading two books at once.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Isla
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.

You helped me get my first careers job in 2022. I still have your notes! Greetings from Anaheim.
