Isla B. Pearson
French and design and technology teacher, Detroit
- 🇺🇸 Detroit, Michigan, United States
- Baobab Public School
- Since 2006
- English
I teach French at Baobab Public School in Detroit since 2006. Most days I teach primary school children, and I learn every name in the first week.
I've run the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Isla
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
