I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes calligraphy. My first show was in 1980 at Leeds Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm still learning every day.
