Isla Acosta
Teacher at Sacramento Technical College, loves geography
- 🇺🇸 Sacramento, California, United States
- Sacramento Technical College
- 1978 to 1997
- English
Sacramento Technical College was my second home. I taught geography there from 1978 to 1997, mostly Year 7.
Over the years I had 950 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Isla
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Isla: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
