Ishrat Shefali Pramanik

28 years teaching art in Rohini

🇮🇳 Rohini, Delhi, India
Redwood Middle School
1986 to 2019
English, Bengali

For 33 years I was the art teacher at Redwood Middle School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Ishrat

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ishrat: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
