Ishrat Moumita Ghosh

Accounting and special education teacher, Cox's Bazar

🇧🇩 Cox's Bazar, Chattogram, Bangladesh
Starlight Boys' School
1998 to 2016
English, Bengali

For 18 years I was the accounting teacher at Starlight Boys' School. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Over the years I had 1,080 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Ishrat

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ishrat: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
