I taught physics at Mount Pleasant Public School in Bristol from 1999 to 2022. Most days I taught teenagers, and my door was open at lunch.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
