Ishrat Ayesha Rahman

Self-taught woodcarving artist

  • 🇮🇳 Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India
  • Aurangabad Pottery
  • Since 1978
  • English
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes glass art. My first show was in 1978 at Aurangabad Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I also teach a weekly class at Aurangabad Pottery, which keeps me honest. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
